1 ea flatbread dough
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Caramelized onion marmalade
2 oz. Camembert cheese, sliced
½ cup arugula
½ tsp rosemary, chopped
- Heat oven to 500 degrees.
- Roll out flatbread dough to half inch thick
- Drizzle with olive oil, then spread caramelized onion marmalade, then drop pieces of cheese on and place flatbread into the oven
- Cook for 8-12 minutes until edges are browned
- Remove from oven and finish with arugula, fresh pepper and chopped rosemary.
- Serve
Caramelized Onion Marmalade
1 cup onions, thin sliced
1 tablespoons oil
1clove garlic, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup marmalade
- In a saute pan, add onions and oil and heat over medium heat. Let cook very slowly until caramelized, about 30 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Pour in marmalade and mix until combined. Turn off heat and cool.
